Study Commencement
Stakeholders were notified of the project through a ‘Notice of Study Commencement’ published in the Northumberland News on June 25, 2020.

Public Information Centre
Two Public Information Centres (PIC) are being held to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to review the proposed design, anticipated environmental impacts and proposed mitigation. A ‘Notice of Public Information Centre’ letter was published in the local newspaper and distributed to the project mailing list in August 2021, indicating that PIC #1 is now available for review on the project website. A second ‘Notice of Public Information Centre’ has been published in the local newspaper, and sent to the project mailing list as of December 2021, indicating PIC #2 is also available for review. All PIC materials will be available for review on this project website and via hard copy upon request.

Transportation Environmental Study Report
Upon completion of the study, a Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) will be submitted for a 30-day public review period. At that time, a ‘Notice of Study Completion and Transportation Environmental Study Report’ containing the dates for the review period, as well as the review locations, will be published in a local newspaper, posted on the project website, and sent to the project mailing list. Stakeholders are encouraged to review this document and provide comments. The final TESR will be posted on this website and filed with Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks for approval once complete. Hard copies of the TESR will be available upon request.
